# Cloud Security

> Connect your cloud accounts to Osto for continuous visibility, asset inventory, and security findings across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Cloud Security (under **Posture Management**) connects your cloud accounts to Osto so it can continuously discover your cloud assets and surface security findings — all in one consolidated, multi-cloud view.

> **Path:** Posture Management → Cloud Security

## Connect a cloud provider

Click **Connect provider** (top-left) to open the **Connect a Cloud Provider** dialog, then choose one of the three supported providers:

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Amazon Web Services" href="/how-to-guides/posture-management/connecting-aws" />

  <Card title="Microsoft Azure" href="/how-to-guides/posture-management/connecting-azure" />

  <Card title="Google Cloud Platform" href="/how-to-guides/posture-management/connecting-gcp" />
</CardGroup>

</Frame>

Selecting a provider opens its connection form. Each form starts with a friendly **Name** and an optional **Description**, followed by the credentials specific to that provider. Every form also links to a step-by-step setup guide ("Review the guide" / "Read the docs") — the same walkthroughs linked above. Fill in the fields and click **Connect**.

<Note>
  Osto connects with **read-only** credentials and never makes changes to your cloud environment. Each provider guide walks through creating a service account or access key scoped to the minimum read-only permissions Osto needs.
</Note>

## The Cloud Security page

The top of the page shows summary cards that update depending on which tab you're viewing, and the work area below is split into three tabs.

### Providers

Your connected accounts at a glance. Summary cards: **Providers Distribution**, **Total Providers**, **Total Assets**, **Coverage Overview**, and **Severity Breakdown**. Until you connect an account, this tab shows *"No Providers Connected"* with a **Connect Your First Provider** button.

### Inventory

The cloud assets Osto has discovered across your connected accounts. Summary cards: **Resource Type Distribution** and **Geographical Distribution**, alongside a service-distribution view. Use this tab to see what Osto found and where it lives.

### Findings

The security findings raised against your discovered assets. Summary cards: **Top Resources** (most-affected assets) and **Severity Distribution**. Use this tab to triage what needs attention first.

## Reports

The top-right **Download Global Report** button exports a report covering every connected account. Its dropdown also offers **Download Individual Report** for a single account.

## After connecting

Once an account is connected, Osto begins discovering assets and raising findings automatically; the summary cards and the Inventory and Findings tabs populate as the scan completes. Findings are organized by severity and by the resources they affect.
